Colgate Phos-Flur anti-cavity fluoride mouthwash is an alcohol-free Sodium fluoride acidulated phosphate solution. Phos-Flur mouthwash offers Ideal protection while wearing braces and helps to strengthen tooth enamel. Helps to prevent cavities. Use: Aids in the prevention of dental cavities. Does not contain ethyl alcohol. The ADA Council on Scientific Affairs Acceptance of Colgate Phos-Flur Ortho Defense (mint, gushing grape) is based on its finding that the product is effective in helping to prevent and reduce tooth decay when used as directed. Important: Keep out of reach of children. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Directions: Important: Read directions for proper use. To open, squeeze cap and turn. Reclose tightly. Adults and Children 6 Years of Age and Older: Use once a day after brushing your teeth with toothpaste. Vigorously swish 10 milliliters (10 ml mark on cap or 2 teaspoonfuls) or rinse between your teeth for 1 minute then spit out. Do not swallow the rinse. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing. Instruct children under 12 years of age in good rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing).
